Beautiful day for this event and a ton of people. My friends were there, so we hung out.
18.9 MPH on the Bike – 10 Miles – Very Happy with the Pace.
It is wide open in the sun and no shade, but I still would not miss it for the world.
This outfit always puts on an A+ EVENT.

This is an excellent event and race. The course was amazing. The shirts were really nice.
#1 VERY BAD thing about ALL of the Rock N Roll races is the START!
– They assign corrals that are 100% FALSE and not true.
– Walkers are in the 1st corral, and then runners run into them or have to stop and wait until an opening appears.
– Why have corrals if they do not start the corrals 30 to 45 seconds apart???
– These guys do such a nice job on everything else, and then they DROP the ball when it comes to starting the races. Start the runners in waves. 1 minute apart, depending on the size of the wave.
– Assign the corrals according to speed, NOT when a person signs up for the race. They need to take a lesson from Hot Chocolate events.
Such a good event, and they need to get runners up front, and the walkers need to be in the rear, not upfront. So many people were running into walkers at the start of the race and falling down.

This is a very important race put on by the Fire Department in Tampa. I run it every year and always come close to Placing and winning a bobblehead, but I never did it UNTIL TODAY!
3rd Place /27:34, and I was ecstatic to finally win a Fire Fighter Bobblehead. They are so cool. My wife’s Dad was a Fire Fighter, as is his son Chip currently, and I wanted to WIN one for him before he died, but I was too late. Well, I got one today, and he knows.
The event announcer said that today they had the biggest turnout for runners. I set a new PR, and next week, my wife and I travel to Nashville, TN, to run in the Rock N Roll Marathon event.
Today this race was so fun, and many of my friends were there.
The timing was spot on, and the course was well-marked, with Police Officers helping out throughout the course.
I did get a parking citation for being 2 minutes over, and the meter man said it was 2 minutes too long. That’s ok; I got a Bobblehead…….ya!

– way too many walkers allowed in the first corral of runners. Many overweight walkers near the front line walked at the start and never ran one step. They needed to be in the 3rd wave.
The EXPO was the BEST Expo we have ever attended. Real professional.
The shirts were very nice. The medal was nice.
The rain just caused a lot of problems.
The Police did a good job.

Signs were everywhere, so runners kept on the course. Nice Finishers medal.
Cotton shirt, but it was nice. Once they go to 100% polyester, they will have more happy runners. Cotton shirts are used to wash my car.
They had a nice breakfast sandwich at the end of the race, along with other food and a big giant yummy donut, and they had all kinds.
So many FAST runners at this event.

Three of us went, and my niece took 1st Place Overall Woman. None of us will return next year because of how poorly this event was set up.
1. At the start of the race, there was a turn right after the start of the race, and people were tripping on each other.
2. Bridge that runners went up, down, back up, and then down, and the bridge was large, but that is life.
3. No awards at the end of the race, and they had it advertised. I just found out that they gave a clear cheap coaster that said the same thing on all coasters to the winners, I guess.
4. No Awards as promised for the 1st thru 3rd Place winners of the race.
5. The only snacks that were at the end of the race were unripe bananas or crackers.
6. This was a big event and not cheap, yet the race was set up terribly, and no nothing at the end of the race. Within 10 minutes, the event was cleared out, and runners were very disappointed.
Millennium Racing Events put this on, and I suggest not doing their events.
We will not return next year, and many other runners said the same thing.

They had nice shirts, and everyone was friendly. Good snacks and drinks at the end of the race, and they had beer but I had to drive a long way, so I just had water and a banana.
The course was marked really well and it was a simple out-and-back route that was very flat.

They gave away the same award/medal as last year and that is not cool. The award each year should change. They could also give a better award. The award they give is very cheap.

The results and the way they posted them resulted in many people leaving, thinking they did not receive an award. They put up a chip to scan that was not working for many people. Even if it did work, it showed no timing result but showed people in each age category in alphabetical order, but not everyone caught that. They made no announcements or anything.
The shirts were nice, and the awards were also nice. The medal was nice.

Everything was very good. Packet pick-up on race day needed more people, but they pulled it off.
The timing was right on, and the shirts were not cotton but a good Tek shirt. White but still a tek shirt.

The Triathlon was canceled 1 day before the event, so all the triathletes were forced to do the Duathlon so you can imagine how crowded it was at the start line. Many people did not cross the finish line for up to a minute, and that is not fair to the people.
The course in the woods was not properly marked, but that was ok. I had about four people ask me if they were going the right way, and they were, and two people asked me if they should turn left, and I said no, go straight. A couple of cones placed at 3 locations, and no one would have questioned it.
Excellent Finisher Awards and the t-shirts were also nice.
The course was a nice course, and I believe the timing was on the money also.
Had to go up a bridge, and then on the way back, runners had to go up the bridge again, as well as did all the bikers, but that is all part of the race.

This outfit is very professional. I give them 11 out of 10 stars.
Everything was perfect. No problems at all. Plenty of room on the bike racks, and the race was marked very well. I was worried about that because, at times, I was out there, and no one was behind me or in front of me, but it was marked good.
The main road is bumpy and not a great road to ride a street bike on. Probably the bumpiest road I have ever done a race on, but you just go with it. Eventually, the road will get repaved, and hopefully soon.
Great snacks at the end, and the timing was exact. I used my Garmin watch and my bike computer.
A nice Finisher medal and a nice 1st place award also.
Next year I will be back to do all 3 Duathlons.

Great awards. The finisher medal was real nice and the 1st thru 3rd plaques were in the top 5 of all the races I have been to and I have run over 200 events in just the last few years.
They did have 1st thru 3rd place cool awards in 5-year increments so that was very good.
All very nice people running the event.
The timing was perfect. Shirts were off the hook. They had pink 100% Polyester and neon green 100% polyester, plus black cotton and poly mixed so I was very happy to be able to get a Neon Green Polyester Shirt. This shirt will be worn to several upcoming events.
1 bad thing.
1. No fruit at the end or anything to snack on.
Other than that, this event gets an A+
Hilly but not too bad but not flat like most of Florida. OK, maybe hilly and I am just trying not to be a whinner.

Love the Finisher Medal they gave out.
Awards were stickers for the back of the medal which is kind of cheezy but no big deal.
It was a very good time as always.
The bad thing was I hurt my hip. It hurt in the last race but now I can not do the race tomorrow in Orlando and I will need to go to the doctor because I can not walk normally and walk with a very bad limp. My wife says I might have bursitis which she says is treatable and that I could run again. I am crossing my fingers.

I want to say this before I say all the nice things…
I did the Duathlon, paid $148.71, drove 2.25 hours to get here and after taking 2nd Place in my age group, I was told awards would be given out at 10 am but they were not until 11:30 am and then I never got my award because they said they don’t give age group awards to people that entered the Duathlon but they gave awards 5 deep to people that did the Triathlon.
I got home and sent the Director a message and she was very nice in her response but to me, it is wrong and is CHEAP. Duathlon athletes are a step above 5K & 10K racers and to pay all that money and then want to not give out a little $3.50 award shows no class on the race director. She is nice but cheap! The running course was on a golf course rather than a road and people had muddy shoes because of the rain the day before and the path was dirt and sand. I might have given high ratings on this event but I will NEVER do it again. Great food, nice finisher medal, and the courses were well marked. Nice tek shirt also.
The Fitness Challenge (Reverse Duathlon)

Really good event. The timing was exact and perfect. Great setup and properly marked so no one could go off course. The start was in waves due to rain and because there were so many people. That was smart. The course was different from all others done here and it was the best by far.
The post-party was great as always with beer, other drinks, and a ton of food which included freshly grilled hot dogs and beer dogs and then pizza was scattered in.

I think this location just became a favorite. The course is way cool and most of it takes place on a bridge where you go up the bridge, then down the bridge, turn around and go back up the bridge and back down the bridge, and circle around and finish. I had so much energy left at the finish, it came up so quickly after I turned the corner. Next year I will be ready and it will be a sprint to the finish.
Great start and finish for sure. Really nice Finisher Medal and a nice shirt. They were selling the cool shirts for $50 and to me, that is too much money.
The post-party at the end of the race was off the hook. Subway choice of ham or turkey on the softest bun and you also got a bag of chips & a chocolate chip cookie. Wow!
Then you have 2 drink tickets for 2 beers and they had such good beer. Michelob Light and Budweiser in a cool can. I sat at a picnic table and talked with other runners and everyone was just so happy to be there, as it should be right!

We brought our mother n law and she brought our dog and it was just a good family outing for sure. Everything was 100% PERFECT!

This was a very fun course. It also had many furry friends. The weather was nice. Southern Timing puts on an A+ event every time I attend one of their events.
The start was great with a wide road to pass people and the course was very scenic. Every turn was properly marked with arrows and cones and even people standing nearby to make sure runners were going the right way.
I finished the race and checked my Garmin watch and it was EXACTLY the same as what the race had timed my run at.
The post-party was great because it was shaded with plenty of picnic tables. There were a bunch of different snacks which included water, pop, bananas, fruit snacks, and 3 other assorted snack bars.
Then they had the awards ceremony and that was quick and very cool. On top of giving a very nice shirt, Finish Medal, they also gave out 1st thru 3rd place awards to the runners in 5-year age increments. The icing on the cake was they gave out dog awards and doggie cupcakes to the dogs. How cool is that?????

No food again or there were bananas which were fine.
Here is why I gave this race a 3. Tony makes the 1st thru 3rd place finishers wait nearly 1 hour to get their award and that is crazy. Many people said they were just going to leave and stop doing his races. I hope he changes that part or he will lose runners.

Water stations but absolutely no fruit or anything to eat at the very end of the race which is unheard of.
I finished the race and then had to stand around and wait for the 2nd place certificate for another hour which was not good. Many people just left. I heard many people complaining that they waited so long to just get a paper certificate. I would not do this race again unless they gave out real medals for 1st thru 3rd place.

This timing company does such a good job and I spoke to the owner Jake who was a really nice guy and I could tell that he loves his job. He puts on such a good race.

The food was good after the race.
The only BAD thing is that they did awards in 10-year increments which is a mistake. They could have drawn in more runners with 5-year award increments.

These guys put on a perfect and flawless event. When I travel to Arizona, I just go to their website and always run a race they put on.
Why, you ask?
1. Event is marked and runners always know where to go.
2. Perfect timing every time.
3. Nice Finisher medal every time.
4. They always give 1st thru 3rd place awards in all age groups in 5-year increments.
5. The shirts are NEVER cotton. They give polyester sheets that 99% of all runners will wear in other races and around the house and more. The shirts are never stupid colors.
6. Always bananas and 1 or 2 other fruits along with 2 or 3 different kinds of bars.
4. Water at the end plus a fruit drink like Gatorade
5. 2 or more water stations on the course.
6. The drinks that they give are ALWAYS cold and not warm.
7. Results are up immediately once you cross the “Finish Line”.
8. Awards are announced and given out in a timely manner using a podium.
9. Live results are broadcasted on 2 large screen tv’s
The courses are always right on the money.

– The T-Shirt was one of the best shirts I have gotten at a race in the past 2 years. It is a real dry-fit shirt and it did not have a big goddy iron on. It is a shirt that I will wear and run in at many future races and that will advertise this event big time.
– The timing was fine but the results getting posted were terrible see below.
Let’s talk about terms that need improvement:
1. The end of the race was confusing for many people. I thought it might just be me but not the case. Some people said it was stupid. The start of the 5K was different than the end of the race which is normal in many races but they were telling people to stay in the left lane and then they removed the start line and had the 5K runners switch lanes and finish acress the Half Start/Finish line which is fine but say something. I saw many runners crossing over between the cones at the end and many people did not kick it at the end because they did not know where the Finish was. Actually it was obvious but confusing.
2. Cheap Finisher medals and lanyards.

Timing was good and the start was ok with a timing mat. At the start, people were having a hard time breaking out. This event would be started in waves because it starts on a straightaway but it turns a corner very quickly which jammed many people up.

SO MANY BAD THINGS HAPPENED. BUT, the race director did the best he could and the timer got an F BUT now the timer gets a B+. I will leave everything for the most part but the timer was able to correct all the times and actually was exact on what my Garmin said.
The location is great but … no results link on the website or anywhere else butt… it came the next day after all the corrections were made the timer did a good job there.
1. Timing was way off. It said Chip start and Chip finish but that is not true. It was no chip start even though you ran over the mat, it did not record times.
When I ran across the finish, it said 30:04 which is not the time I ran the race, it was just the time clock readout. I ran in 29:39 according to my Garmin and my Garmin is spot on.
***Correction – The timer took 1-day to correct the times for the runners and he did a GREAT job because all the times were spot on!
2. The awards could not be given out because the timing company had a problem with the times. You think… That’s ok because the timer wanted to make sure everyone had their correct times which he did and now the race director is mailing out all the awards.
3. BIGGEST thing was no turnaround marking for the 5K. Not a cone, sign, marking on the ground, or anything so most of us ran farther than we should have and some people ran less than a 5K because they heard that the turn around was not marked so people just turned around when they heard the crappy news.
– I can’t say this was corrected or ok but the race director did get to the turnaround and marked the 5k turn around eventually but many runners were already affected.
4. All the shirts were 1 or 2 sizes too small. That sucked because it was a nice-looking shirt. The “Finisher Medal” was plain and most likely from China.

4. The medal was nice but for this event, it should be better.
5. Post party was not good. Banana & a bag of chips. Banana was good but who wants a bag of chips???? Some type of fruit cup . Was warm so I did not take one.
6. Check-in process was very good.
7. I guess their system allowed me to pay twice and enter twice and they would not let me defer my 2nd entry to next year. That is bad business.
8. Red shirt was yuk but I asked for a blue one and they gave me one so that was nice of them.
9. Everyone is real nice that helps out with the race.

It was mainly on the main drag which was kind of cool. The parking was about 14 to 1/2 miles away but that was ok also.

Honesty is like this.
The Race Director is nice & put on a great event but she had no one at the turnaround point, no cone or any marking so 30% of the runners which all were the lead runners, went about 3/4 of a mile extra. I ran close to 4 miles rather than 3.1 and so did most of the lead runners.
So many people were pissed. I did speak to the Race Director after the race and gave her back my 2 race packets for both my wife and me. I felt bad for her but this is about the worst thing that could take place.
The race was great. The starting and finish were set up nicely. The course was well-marked except at the turnaround but the race director made a mistake and I think she did a good job on everything else in her defense.
She did refund my money and I will make it a point of running at her event next year.
Once we arrived at the turnaround or what should have been marked as the turnaround and were informed that we all ran nearly an extra mile, I just did not push myself anymore. I just listened to all the runners discuss how disappointed and pissed off they were.

This year so far, I rate this course a perfect 10! Flat and fast with great views of water and beautiful surroundings. Marked at every turn, mile markers x 3 and a split timer. Awards were very good and Finisher metals were better than any I have received this year.
I used my Garmin to track the mile splits and the overall course and everything was dead on the money. That is very rare.
Great snacks at the end along with plenty of water and fruit.
Anyone wanting a really well put together 5K event, this is it. These guys set up in a place no other else race director ever used and it was so good. So beautiful. I made sure to find out which company put this event on and it was Southern Timing and the guy in charge was Jake. I met him and he was a really nice guy that cares about the runners.

No chip start and there were quite a few runners. This race director needs to buy another timing mat if he is going to time races. How can he have races that are big without a chip start?
I have seen his races that had a lot of people and still no Chip start. Cheap!
The food at the end of the race was covered and they were not allowing anyone to have any except for fruit and water. Maybe they were waiting until the race was finished. Most people did not wait around and just left. Why not let the people eat when they finish?
Timing was ok but when you only have 1 timing mat at the end of the race, its hard to mess it up. Just not fair to all the runners behind me. Cuts a lot of time off their run which is not fair to the runner and just not a good way to set up a race as a professional timer.
Girls at registration did a good job.
Many people were again upset that the guy did not have any restrooms on site. One toilet for the men. On site rest rooms was all there was.
This guy is Cheap.

Fitniche was the timing company and they had a narrow start which is fine but they did a mass start which was wrong. The timing company should have started people in waves. The minute the race started, all runners were packed in like sardines.
Runners were bouncing off of each other and I saw 2 people go down and then later on the trail, a lady tripped on a big root and another guy fell because he stepped in a big hole in the middle of the trail which should have been covered up or at least marked.
Nearly the entire course was trails that were up and down sand hills and I mean loose sand. A lot of places were mud. A lady stepped in the thick mud and her shoe came off which caused her to stop and people almost crashed into her.
Crappy course.
90% of the runners were finished with the race and they make an announcement that the pancake grill would not turn on so they had to swap it out. Many runners just packed up and left and went home. No pancakes for most of the people.
No snacks at the end of the run. No even fruit.
I would tell people that if they can find a different run, do it.
Me personally, I will never do this event again and for sure not this course no matter what. The charity was a good cause that needs better representation.
The timing was correct but the timers should NEVER have done a mass start.
Its 12:37am and no results can be found online where the race can be found.

With so many hills, it made the course a little unsafe. I saw several people that got hurt but they will recover. No serious injuries.
I will not run this course again but I am glad I did it one time.

Packet pickup was quick, easy and very organized.
The race was marked perfectly and the timing was spot on. I where a very expensive garmin because timing is important to getting better as an individual runner and I take that serious. Their timing was EXACT right down to the second!
The announcer did a great job and he recognized many people at the race, along with routing them on at the finish line.
I spoke to Jacob the race director and he was not only extremely nice but you could see that he really cared about the runners, the event and making sure everyone had a great time. You don’t see that all the time.
Southern Timing did a good job and when I sign up for future races, I will look for races that they time and make it my priority to sign up and attend the races/events they are timing! Never met Jacob or attended a Southern Timing event until this one and I was impressed!

This was not only a great course but it was cool how both young and older people dressed up like the 80’s.
Timing was dead on. Very good production of the event They even had banana’s at the end.
Age Group Awards which I did not expect which was a nice surprise.

Nice shirt but it was made out of “Cotton” which is the worst kind of shirt any runner wants. It will be used as a rag.
The timing was spot on.
The announced was one of the best I have heard. A little over the top but he did a pretty good job. Kept the crowd motivated.
I would suggest doing this race to anyone wanting a nice event that is done the right way. You won’t be disappointed.

Wide start (entire width of road) and course was not only marked very well with arrows at each turn, but there was also a Police Officer at every turn to make sure no runner/walker made a wrong turn.
Spot on timing. Not 1 mistake. Results were up immediately.
Good Post party and stuff to eat.

ALERT Bad Stuff:
1. No chipt start and Very narrow start.
2. 3 porta potties or maybe 4 but not enough. Many people were late to the start because of it and they were screwed because it was not a chip start so it put them 1 to 5 minutes behind everyone else. Start & finish at different locations but only a chip Finish. Cheap production. Only care about putting money in their pockets.
3. Race director announced that he set orange cones on their sides to indicate a turn. How cheap & unprofessional is that. A good timing company/race director should have the course properly marked.
4. Just prior to starting the 4.25 run, several Half Marathon runners were appearing at the finish line do to getting lost and the race director told them they went the wrong way and “Laughed”. Very unprofessional for this race director to laugh!
5. Very, very Nice Finisher Medal.
6. Water at the end of the race and no snacks and if there were, I did not see them and many other runners were complaining about not even a banana. I agree, cheap again!
7. They advertise the course as a 4 mile course and a runner called the race director out at the beginning of the race and the race director said yes, ok, you got me, the race is not 4 miles, it is 4.25 miles. Lying to the runners is again unprofessional.
8. Timing was correct and the staff helping out were very nice.
9. Many runners at the end of the race were upset about no chip start when the course in sonarrow.
10. THIS TIMING COMPANY DOES A GOOD JOB OF TIMING BUT THEY ALSO put on the race and act as the race director and they do not mark the course properly. Saying the race is 4 miles, when it is 4.25 miles in wrong and lying to the runners will not be forgotten. No chip start is wrong and many runners will not return again next year.

Professionally done and very well organized. Many volunteers and the race was timed using Chronotrack which is #1 in the world today! I use a Garmin and the timing was spot on.
1. Great prerace set up that had safety come first for everyone and masks were worn right up to the start line.
2. Every runner received a “Finish Medal”.
3. Police assisted with making sure the roads were safe and the course was car free.
4. COURSE WAS WELL MARKED WITH SIGNS, CONES AND ARROWS ALONG WITH LIVE PEOPLE AT TURNS.
5. Organized extremely well. Packet pick-up was fast.
6. Nice t-shirts that not only looked good but were also the real dri-fit light weight shirt, not a crappy cotton shirt. I have been wearing this shirt to other events and people asked about the event and told them how great it was.
This is a must attend event next year for you and after seeing this race, you will be hooked for every year thereafter.

2. The event was not a 5K which was 3.1 miles, it was actually 3.9 or nearly 4 miles long but they still call it a 5K which is wrong in so many ways.
I will never run in this event and I suggest everyone else think twice about running in this event. They need to guarantee that the race itself has been properly measured and is actually a true 5K. Many people were having a hard time finishing because they expected to run a 5K.

2. Hard to find. Located deep in the woods
3. Not clearly marked course. Some people got lost
4. Little quarter size wood finish yuk! was not a medal. Looked like an animal cracker. ( i attached the picture)
5. Bad course for older people. People dropped out of the longer runs and just did the 5K.
6. This race director/timer is out to make a buck and that is it!
7. Rude to some of the runners when they asked questions. I watched and listened.
What was good:
1. The timing was good and they had a chip finish but they had to.
2. Everyone but the race director was nice and polite.
3. This course might be good for the hard core younger runners but no way is it good for people that are older.
4. They had good snacks for after the race.

– Nice post party but the rain started and came down in buckets for over 20 minutes which broke up the award ceremony.
This event was so good that my wife and I signed up for early registration the very next day in 2022.
They also gave you a shirt. Many pictures on the route.

The shirt was a true running shirt that I now wear to several races. None of that cotton crap.
They had a great awards ceremony and great food which included cooked pancakes and sausage.
Many nice volunteers and the Fireman that served up the pancakes were great guys with a good attitude.

1. Race was timed to the nano second. Perfect Chip Timing!
2. Treatment and respect given to the runners by the race director and his staff was excellent. I asked him some questions and he was there with a smile on his face and answered all questions.
3. Course was out and back and well marked.
4. Water station at the half way mark.
5. Flat & Fast course. So good, I signed up the next say on runningintheusa.com for 2022 race next year.
6. Good snacks at the end which included drinks and water.
Bad Things: Absolutely nothing!

In 2020 the event was ral good but I don’t like what they pulled in 2021. It was not about safety, they wanted to be greedy and buy themselves something nice with all the profits.

Great professional outfit that handed out packets and everyone was happy.
The course was flat & fast. Police held me back at a road crossing for about 6 cars and that sucked but oh well.
Had a great time and so will you. Make sure you go to this event, you will have so much fun and you will come back year after year. They give you a great shirt, medal for doing the event and also 1st, 2nd & 3rd place

This event was different then what I was use to. Organized but flawed. They had a timing company, gave out nice awards and shirts. Timing was perfect. I think these guys are good but they do not give awards to age division winners and only to the top 15 people regardless of age that cross the finish line which is really not fair.
Metals were ok. A little unorganized as far as determining who the winners were. I also saw a girl get handed a ticket for an award when another person should have gotten the award ticket and that was unprofessional. I will do more of their events but hope things are more organized next time.
Was a great flat and fast course but not much shade. Hey its beautiful Florida.
Turns out that I was one of the big winners but I did not get a ticket so that was messed up. They made good on it 1 year later and gave me the award I was supposed to receive that day with my nieces.

I had 2 of my very good friends to run with and we had a blast.
The Race Director did such a good job.
We stayed the night in a hotel and then ran again in the morning on January 1st, 2019 and it was the same course but in the light and I ran faster and took 2nd Place!

I even took a picture with Santa and the food they had along with the christmas cookies was fantastic.

The event was set up on trees and roots and places the race director did not need to go which included a big hill. It was unsafe to where I even fell and several people fell on me. I saw other people fall also.
Still had a great time and I would only do it again to get another cool award.

The start was not chip timed and a narrow start with many runners so if you were like me being stuck at the back, it took 20 seconds to start and break out.
No food or finisher medal and I don’t think a shirt or any awards at the end of the race. That is terrible for showing appreciation to the runners.
I will never so this event again.

Timing was way off and most runners were pissed and left the minute the race was over.
This outfit does not care about the runners, they just use the run to solicit donations and they are pigs about it. Sorry but that is the truth.
The set up was professional, the course was well marked but the timing was incorrect. I was nearly a minute short of the real time and so were other runners.
I will never run in a event this organization put on ever again.
It was raining but that is no excuse for how this director talked to runners and handled complaints. I just sat back, watched and listened.

So much fun and so many runners. 15K is not a run most people can do.
Great post party but cheap of the snacks and one of the guys at the packet pick-up was a butt head that was part of Hot Chocolate management.

So I wore a wet suit but I also got permission to wear flippers, a mask and a snorkel because I can’t swim real good and the wetsuit I rented was to big and filled up with water.
Then when I finished the swimming and I was walking out of the water still wearing my snorkel and flippers, everyone was pointing and laughing at me and they should be, because I looked funny wearing flippers.
I had a great time but took a wrong turn with other bikers and it cost me some time but oh well.
The entire event was a blast.

Tempe AZ is always a good time. Love this running location. Flat & pretty fast for the most part.
