Capital FC Half Marathon Salem, OR   Jun 6, 2021

The Capital FC Half Marathon, 10k, and 5k runs begin at Capital FC’s Soccer Complex in East Salem. You’ll enjoy running along the abandoned rail-line behind the fields, over the railroad bridge, and through the rolling hills and scenic farmland of the beautiful Willamette Valley. The half-marathon is a certified 13.1 miles for those of you who take your running seriously! Each half marathon finisher will receive a finisher’s medal.

Live music and free beer from Salem Ale Works await you on the other side of that finish line. Whether it’s the first time you’ve crossed a finish line or the 20th, the race is a celebration of personal achievement and grit.

All this for a good cause, benefitting Capital Futbol Club, Salem’s non-profit youth soccer club. The club gives away over $70,000 every year to give opportunities to young kids to be active and learn the life lessons that athletics has to teach.
