At the Dog Days of Summer 5K, run a scenic (and flat) course with your dog, then enjoy a puppy parade, a dog costume contest, a dog-and-owner look-alike contest, and more activities revolving around your adored pet.

This dog-friendly event will feature not just a scenic and flat 5K run & walk and free kids dashes but a host of other great activities for everyone.

* ‘Hound Pound” An alcohol garden for participants 21 and over. We will feature Beer, Mimosas and also great cocktails named after our furry friends.

All entries include a custom designed Dog Days of Summer T-shirt. All dogs that bring and register their human for the event receive a custom printed Dog Days of Summer dog tag and a Dog Days of Summer bandana. Note: One set of dog tag and bandana per paid entry

The Dog Days of Summer 5K benefits Dog Gone Seattle, a Washington based non-profit organization dedicated to saving homeless dogs in high kill shelters in Washington and beyond through rescue, foster, and adoption. We are a foster-based organization, and our rescue is 100% funded through adoption fees and donations. We believe every dog deserves a chance at a forever home, and we aim to make a difference in the lives of these deserving animals, one dog at a time!
