Why racing of course put on another arming show as always. This course was pretty, though downtown, parks & along the river. At the end they even had free lunch … MORE
Why racing of course put on another arming show as always. This course was pretty, though downtown, parks & along the river. At the end they even had free lunch with burgers & entertainment. This course would normally be easy however it was pouring rain this time.

This was an amazing run for a few reasons. First off it’s at night, so warmer outside & also for those night owls like me you get to sleep in! Also you get tons of free race photos with amazing backdrops of Fort Vancouver and the air museum. They even give you a free carb loaded dinner so I could just eat for free before the half marathon in the morning. That makes it worth it alone plus entertainment and meeting new friends. + free apples!

Really beautiful course along the Columbia River. Great support, lots of water stops, nit too many spectators. One negative is that it is a hal marathon course that you run in two loops as a full marathon. This was the inaugural running of this race.
