Hi MrMike. Penny here - Race Director for the Inspiring Hope Run. I just noticed your review and wanted to clarify which year you were reviewing? I'm guessing 2018 since that was the only year we went without chip timing? Happy to say that chip timing is back and we are looking forward to an in-person and virtual 2021 Inspiring Hope Run on 7/17/21. Would love to see you there! If you have any thoughts you'd like to share with me directly about your race experience you can still find me at [email protected] LESS

Penny, we met and you do a good job with very little help. I think we did your race twice or maybe it was 2 different races I think and there was no timing and times were a little messed up but you had a nice course and the set up and bib pickup was well ran. Now that you have timing, I will change my review. We live in Florida and we are both on track to do 75 races this year. Take care and keep up the good work. LESS

I thought you looked familiar in your photo! I do try to meet as many of "my" runners as possible. :) 2018 we tried the not-so-great no chip timing idea for the entire series with the thought that we'd be able to send more $$ to our charity partners if we weren't paying outside timers. We did send more $$ to the charities but I didn't feel that the timing was up to the quality my runners deserve so I invested in timing equipment and training for my staff. It's an investment that has turned out to be well worth it. LESS
