Fallen Hero 5K & 10K

The Tampa VA Network along with the VetCoin Foundation presents the annual Fallen Hero 5K | 10K. Each September, the Fallen Hero 5K | 10k event is a way for us to come together to honor and remember our fallen heroes while paying tribute to those that are currently in the line of duty.

This course will utilize the Al Lopez Park loops. Runners MUST run the large loop first, followed by the smaller loop. This completes the 5K run. 10k runners will complete this cycle twice.

Bravery, strength, hard work, commitment, and dedication are just a few words to describe the men and women who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country. This race is meant to honor that. While we run and push past our limits, each step of our journey is dedicated to those who have died for us and who continue to put their life on the line in service to our country and community. To honor fallen heroes, our remembrance signs are placed along the race route reminding us that our fallen heroes may be gone but they are not forgotten!
