The weather was very humid so that was the only downside honestly. Course is mostly flat. I noticed they were very generous with the time limits of the race!

This was my First Marathon, the travel logistics for this race was pretty easy, I found lodging near the airport for a fair price, parking for the expo was easy as well as for the race both were free. The course aid stations were placed in good spots throughout the race. Crowd support was awesome as well. The expo was pretty small and it’s an easy in and out experience for packet pickup. Medal looks awesome, wore it for the rest of the day.

Packet pickup for this race is pretty easy, although finding parking can be a little bit of a pain because it’s in a college area. The race overall was fun, full of energy, love the swag and awesome medal. Plenty of hills, so doing your hill training pays off on this course.

The course was smooth, made of crushed limestone so be mindful of rocks getting in your shoes! Aid stations were placed in good spots along the course. The event was well organized and ran smoothly! Next time I’ll definitely do the half marathon distance.
