I really enjoyed this race, this year it was going on at the same time as the Taste of Chicago. The meal was nice and the view was amazing, as a Chicago native I loved running on the lake watching the sun continue to rise.

The race was early in the morning and cool, the course was fairly flat, out and back down Michigan Ave, with great views of iconic buildings and the Chicago river. … MORE
The race was early in the morning and cool, the course was fairly flat, out and back down Michigan Ave, with great views of iconic buildings and the Chicago river. Brunch and beer served afterwards, with Maggie Speaks playing onstage. Great laid-back atmosphere. Nice lightweight running pullover as swag. Going for the 10k next year so I can get a medal 🙂

It was a fun run with an out-and-back along the Magnificent Mile and along the lakeside. It was chilly, but great for running. The wind was a little harsh at times, but tolerable. I loved that they gave out a jacket instead of a shirt, but the sizing was way off. However, they were really great about exchanges. My only issue was I had my packet mailed and it didn’t reach me in time and my hubby had to overnight it to me and that cost a lot to do.

The race was early in the morning and cool, the course was fairly flat, out and back down Michigan Ave, with great views of iconic buildings and the Chicago river. It was a fun run with an out-and-back along the Magnificent Mile and along the lakeside. It was chilly, but great for running. The wind was a little harsh at times, but tolerable.
