This race is on a mountain starting at 9200ft. It has beautiful scenery, the race director was awesome and the volunteers were great. This race does not have traditional water stops with volunteers, and it doesn’t have spectators. You run for long stretches by yourself. The race description says it all.

The race production was good. The staging area was large plenty of parking. They could have used a dozen more porta potties, as the race was delayed trying to get runners through them. The course was no joke, rolling hills throughout the entire course. Very scenic, and the volunteers were really friendly and supportive. The after race wasn’t anything great cold pizza, but the medals were awesome.

For the first year of this event I was extremely impressed. The staging area, start and finish was very well done. The water stations were plentiful, and volunteers were friendly and helpful. The course is challanging with some long steep hills. I have run 40 marathons and hats off to the organizers for a very well run event.

Hats off to the Ogden marathon. You nailed the race day logistics, buses to the start line, staging area, all of it. The course a point to point was absolutely beautiful, and the road was closed so we had it to ourselves. There were plenty of water station with such great people. The finish line was great, lined with people cheering you in. After race party in a park live music, fun for all.
Thank you for a great experience.

The course was nice, flat and fast, and the volunteers were great. The logistics were a bit off. They bussed you from a school to the start line, except there wasn’t any parking at the school. Then there weren’t enough busses for the amount of people. The race started 40 minutes late. The finish line was chaos. They handed you a medal and you had to stand inline for a cup of water you poured yourself. They had plenty of room to setup a water station were you kept walking and grabbed a couple of cups. The only other issue was the gear check. The vehicle transporting the gear from the start wasn’t there at the end of the race, and you had to wait around for it. The rest of the after race festival was great, live music with an open field with bench’s and cold beers.
The race itself was great, and with a few little corrections the whole experience could be as well.

This was the first year for this race. The expo no thrills, could have done better with little effort. The staging area was good, but there should have been some porta potties on the same side as the coorals. The course was flat, no thrills and you had to watch for pot holes. The finish line could have been better with little effort. Just water, no food and no direction as to where to go. I do have to say the volunteers were awesome at each water stop. Thank you to all who helped us during this rainy day.

A very fun race. The course was easy, plenty of water station and spectators along the entire course. Live music and other music along the course kept it lively. The only negative was they start the 10k along with the half and full marathons. This makes it a bit congested for the first 6 miles.

Challenging course, second half is hilly and dirt gravel roads. There were plenty of water stops, and staff on ATV’s to assist if there were any problems. The volunteers were friendly and supportive with snacks, water and gatorade. Its a no thrills race, but if you’re trying to check off a state this is a good race for that.

This is a excellent race. The course is very good, off the road for 80% of it, with plenty of water stops and friendly people. The after race party was outstanding with plenty of food and drinks. The only negative comment would be they start the half and the full at the same time so it gets a bit congested for the first mile or so.
