This is a beautiful run with some rolling hills. The people makes this run awesome. Just super friendly. The local school had some of their sports team as course volunteers and those kids were as nice, fun, energetic, and genuinely supportive as I have ever experienced. So many nice people and happy that you came to run their event and support their town.

The course had to be adjusted that day, but it was a very scenic run with both paved trail and some street sections. People were super friendly and supportive. Lots of really good runners, so I was pulling up the rear even at 2:15 pace. Still tons of fun.

Nice day for a run, but the humidity was off the charts. I was feeling it by mile 3, but the crowds we great, and the other participants were awesome. Wasn’t my best run, but it was just one of those lower energy days too. All in all a good run thru the streets of Lincoln Nebraska and the finish line food was one of the best.

Runners are nice, but these runners had to be some of the nicest people I every ran with. The race staff and volunteers were off the charts. It was the first time City workers helped with traffic control as volunteers band let the police handle the major intersections. all around a really nice run

The whole course runs along the Potomac river and is truly beautiful. Loved the scenic aspects of this course. downhill on the out, and of course downhill on the way back.. haha nope what goes down, must come back up. Not too bad, but still made it decent work for the second half. The organizers donate proceeds to local causes and that is super awesome.

This is a great run packed with scenery. Potomac River, Regan National Airport, Lincoln and Washington memorials, an out and back on the gorgeous rock creek parkway, and a finish just past the Jefferson memorial. Some really fast runners you get to see coming back as you are still goi g out 😁

My first run after back surgery, recovery, etc. Most of this race is along the coastline of Maui and I saw at least 5 whales!! You cant beat Maui for an awesome island experience and doing a run this beautiful just adds to it. I recommend this run for everyone! at least once : -)

This course is a kick you in the butt course. Lots of climbing with big rocks in your path, that you also have to climb over. Just happen to run this in the year the deep freeze came south. It was 12 degrees out. Now that I know what to expect, I would train better before this one. It was a very scenic trail course.

This is a mainly flat course. The whole town comes out and cheers you on. Think about people lining the course for the whole course to wish you well. Local bands play music at different spot and lots of kids with signs. And the end of course area is one big “fun fest” Just so much fun overall!! I do this run every year, but had to review this one as it was my PR!! If you want to get Nebraska, this is the race to do.

Hey, if you are running Minnesota, this is the way to do it. First weekend of each year, its the Polar Dash! Some years is -20, so years it +20. This one was in the +20 range, so it was definitely the easier year to do it. Either way, they make a big deal out of those you come to face the brutal cold and wind. A must do run.
