Richard Wiedenbeck's Staging Area

Very easy course with a fun start and finish. Small number of runners so you don’t feel crowded and has a few fun spots along the way. Going under a large viaduct while a big freight train goes over for one. All in all a nice little race with easy access free parking and a fun race director

Don’t let that headline fool you, this was a really fantastic course and and a great run. The people are super supportive and once you have mastered those hills, the last three miles are all flat and taking you home to the finish line. Once you hit that finish line, you feel like you accomplished something major. Fort Smith is also a really cool town to visit. lots of things to see for a long weekend.

This is a beautiful run with some rolling hills. The people makes this run awesome. Just super friendly. The local school had some of their sports team as course volunteers and those kids were as nice, fun, energetic, and genuinely supportive as I have ever experienced. So many nice people and happy that you came to run their event and support their town.

They do a great job of organizing this race. The finish line area and events are wonderful, the course is scenic. At race start the moon was setting in the west and the sun was rising in the east and you could see them both.. a really neat sign.

Nice day for a run, but the humidity was off the charts. I was feeling it by mile 3, but the crowds we great, and the other participants were awesome. Wasn’t my best run, but it was just one of those lower energy days too. All in all a good run thru the streets of Lincoln Nebraska and the finish line food was one of the best.

This is a really fun run along the boardwalk of Atlantic City. Race starts and finishes near the Resorts Casino and Hard Rock. Flat and a overall fun run. If you are looking for a run in New Jersey, this one is definitely one to pick.

The whole course runs along the Potomac river and is truly beautiful. Loved the scenic aspects of this course. downhill on the out, and of course downhill on the way back.. haha nope what goes down, must come back up. Not too bad, but still made it decent work for the second half. The organizers donate proceeds to local causes and that is super awesome.

My first run after back surgery, recovery, etc. Most of this race is along the coastline of Maui and I saw at least 5 whales!! You cant beat Maui for an awesome island experience and doing a run this beautiful just adds to it. I recommend this run for everyone! at least once : -)

This is a mainly flat course. The whole town comes out and cheers you on. Think about people lining the course for the whole course to wish you well. Local bands play music at different spot and lots of kids with signs. And the end of course area is one big “fun fest” Just so much fun overall!! I do this run every year, but had to review this one as it was my PR!! If you want to get Nebraska, this is the race to do.

Hey, if you are running Minnesota, this is the way to do it. First weekend of each year, its the Polar Dash! Some years is -20, so years it +20. This one was in the +20 range, so it was definitely the easier year to do it. Either way, they make a big deal out of those you come to face the brutal cold and wind. A must do run.
