There is nothing particularly beautiful nor difficult about the course . ..spectators have to park and take a walk to the finish- but the gator head trophies had me the moment I saw them and knew this was the one I would run in Louisiana. The shirts were soft cotton, medal was super cool. Race volunteers were very friendly and even though it poured rain on me and all during the awards- I enjoyed the experience and how they let the culture of the area influence the theme of the race. It is a small race so there aren’t crowds- or many spectators on the course, but I don’t mind that personally.

There is nothing particularly beautiful nor difficult about the course . ..spectators have to park and take a walk to the finish- but the gator head trophies had me the moment I saw them and knew this was the one I would run in Louisiana.
