Annette Tolliver's Staging Area

This was a great race, I dropped down from 1/2 to 5k with ease. Everyone was nice from Race director to Volunteers. The 5k route took us on a nice tour of the city, I saw beautiful murals and nice countryside. They take much pride in their city. They love BBQ there, it’s a big deal. I’m not a meat eater or I would have gotten some, I heard great things about their food, people loved it.
This is a race to run if you find yourself needing a race in Kansas.

NYC was awesome! My 2nd World Major Marathon.I wasn’t fully prepared for that late start however, it was a nice weather day. Troy and another young lady gave me a couple of bars to tide me over however, once we went into our corral, we saw the bagels and coffee. I had no idea about that. That would have been nice if I had known eariler. Great crowd support until the end of the race, ran out of cups during the middle of the race but later on there were more cups, thank God.

This was a great race. I was in Wolfsburg for 3 days. This race was so nice, I enjoyed seeing parks, I saw a beach near a hotel, we ran through Autostadt (Volkswagen museum). Great crowd support! People calling your name as you ran, so fun. I met and ran most of the race with a young lady from Hamm. There were so many things to see, pictures to take. I really enjoyed it. I think we ran through a Football stadium. Hydration was great, they also has sponges to cool you off. After party was great, medals and tops(given at the end) were pretty!!!

The race was great! Great volunteers (cheering us on), very organized. The scenery was great. I loved seeing all of the friendly officers there, they cheered us on(love that) our officers in Chattanooga are like that and it’s always got see.
What we didn’t know is that you don’t get a medal unless you place. It’s all good because the hubs and I both place.

This race never happened because it was cancelled since Covid 19 hit. I was able to get into this race through a virtual. Dan popped on the computer to hopefully get a slot for 1 of the 500 slots, he got it, I ran it which gave me entry into NYC Marathon

I did this race virtually while physically racing 7 Bridges half marathon. The swag was great! , shirt with 13.1 on the back, a race pullover and a jacket!! 4 medal because I did the Wonder… 1 mile, 5 k, and half marathon.

Stumble is what it was. It was fun. The trail looked nice and easy until I got into it, it was a stumble. The scenery was great, weather was a little breezy.

Thus race did not disappoint. From a smooth packet pickup with a pasta dinner to the course where I was able see various neighborhood areas, beautiful churches and a park. The course was a great mixture of flats, and hills! I enjoyed it. Thanks KY, you owe me Nothing!!! 👍🏾👌🏾

This race was really great!! It was like a family reunion with a lot of your social media followers/friends. Great run course, great volunteering, cheer squads. There was a warm up before the race with stretching and moving. I would definitely do this race again.

Beautiful scenery, the run was around the man made beach the later in the paved trails. The biking doesn’t disappoint. Know how to and be ready to switch gears on a dime, the hills will pop out at you before you know it. It’s a beautiful ride and the second loop is over before you know it.

I enjoyed running in the 1.2 mile loop. I liked starting b at night because it was cooler. Great to have vehicle nearby or camping tents nearby to rest when you need to. Great food and music!! Will do every yr if I can!!
