The sweetest race you’ll ever run! The Bell Buckle Chamber of Commerce’s annual RC Cola – MoonPie 10 Mile and 5K certified races will be held this June in historic Bell Buckle, Tennessee. This has been a wildly popular race for runners of all ages due to its scenic, yet challenging course. The race begins on Hinkle Hill adjacent to the Bell Buckle downtown area. The finish line is across the quilt square in the downtown parking lot.
The race is held the third Saturday in June annually in conjunction with the Bell Buckle RC-MoonPie Festival. Few 10 mile runs still exist as they have been replaced with the shorter 10Ks, thereby making this race more unique for its length as well as its endurance test.
The 5K Race was added in 2018 and became an instant hit. The 5K is a flat course touring historic Bell Buckle neighborhoods and tree lined past the award winning Bell Buckle Park on Peacock Street.
Race shirts are guaranteed for preregistered runners. A full breakfast is served post race to all runners along with finisher medals to all crossing that cherished finish line! Afterwards you should decide to stay for the popular RC-MoonPie Festival which is held on the festival stage grounds behind the store front area.

This was a great small race! Beautiful country scenery, the people were nice. At the finish, we got a couple of Lemon Moon Pies and a chicken sandwich, banana and an RC cola. The topping on the cake for me was the freeze pops! So good! A guy was cutting the top off of them and placing them in a box for us to grab. Did you know that besides the Banana, Vanilla and Chocolate Moon Pies the is also Lemon(Limited Edition), Salted Carmel and Strawberry.
