This race was excellent! Perfect weather and great views. The only criticism is that I wish they had prepared better for the traffic/cars. They did not block off the streets for this race, so there were times when I was nervous that a car was going to hit me. Besides that, awesome experience.

Impeccable race execution as always:
– plenty of swag for all registered runners
– the race started exactly at 0900 as scheduled
– the course was clearly marked with volunteers at the turns
– well-supplied water stops
– tons of food at the finish line including bananas (whole ones, not cut up!), donuts, cookies, chicken sliders
Pretty course, particularly along Ocean Ave. near Ladys Cove. There were a few hills but they weren’t too bad. The course passes by the start/finish line at about the 4.6 mile mark, so spectators get to see runners at the start, finish, and this midpoint. There were lots of people cheering as we passed by.
The only change I would make is to certify the course to make sure we’re getting the full distance. My watch came up about a tenth of a mile short.
Loved this!

Well we lucked out with perfect weather, but EVERYTHING was perfect! Volunteers and race support was great, loved the swag and merch available for purchase. Really nice course with just the right amount of challenge (i.e. hills). I will definitely be back for this one!
I was a little worried before the race when reading that the roads would be open, but race support managed this so well and it was not a problem at all!
Rolling hills & coastal views

This was a well organized race, with many volunteers. The course was quite hilly. Most hills were easy but the hill at mile 12 was no fun. The run was supported for just 3 hours – thank goodness, I made it.
This was my worst half marathon time ever, but that was no fault to the race itself. I truly enjoyed the scenery, the route, the volunteers. This race was marred by: insufficient nutrition, poor sleep and gear problems (had to race in brand new, never worn shoes)

This was my first time running this and it was amazing. Race registration was easy, communication from the race company was clear. Bib pickup was race-morning only and was very smooth. Plenty of parking options on race morning! Swag consisted of a tech shirt, running socks, and drawstring bag— all awesome. The race started right on time. The course was very clearly marked and the ocean views were SPECTACULAR. There were no road closures so navigating some of the busy/narrow roads was a challenge, but there were lots of local police directing traffic, which helped a lot! Aid stations were plentiful. Finish line festivities included some of the best post race food I’ve ever had— sandwiches, cookies, donuts, fruit, drinks— you name it. The medal in the shape of Massachusetts is wonderful. And a big shoutout to ALL the incredible volunteers; the whole vibe was just so friendly and positive. Thank you!
