The weather was not the greatest, Windy and rain, but nothing you can do about that. The course was AMAZING and very scenic! The race Tshirt is so comfortable. The hill to start sucked but really helped at the end. You have to shuttle to the start or walk a long way.

This race is in a beautiful area of Harrisonburg Va. The Company that runs it is VA Momentum who runs lots of local races. The course is hilly (especially the last 3 miles) along a walking path, golf course, and some local neighborhoods. Community involvement is fun and exciting. They have pacers that are with a local running community.

I signed up for this race a week before I ran. It was a small race with a great community feel. The scenery was beautiful and on a nice path. They started in waves based on the distance but didn’t let us know ahead of time. Over all a great home time race.

I would 100% recommend this race. It is a small town race with big race feels. Very scenic and great support from the community. There are some hills and places where the road is open to traffic around you but other places where its just the runners.
