I signed up for this race a week before I ran. It was a small race with a great community feel. The scenery was beautiful and on a nice path. They started in waves based on the distance but didn’t let us know ahead of time. Over all a great home time race.

Volunteering at Run on the rocks – ROTR – 2023
Volunteering at Run on the rocks event at Point of Rocks (Maryland) was an incredibly fulfilling experience. I was responsible for managing the hydration station, Bib pick up and guiding participants along the course. It was amazing to see the dedication of the participants and to be part of a team that worked tirelessly to ensure the event ran smoothly despite of adverse weather.
Runners braved the rain and wind and it was overwhelming to see runners crossing the finish line.
Volunteering gave me the opportunity to support Team AIMS, a Non profit I care about, but also allowed me to connect with others who share the same passion. I look forward to Volunteering for 2024 ROTR and continue to make a difference in our community.
