SeaWheeze isn’t your average half marathon. In fact, it may just be the most breathtakingly beautiful and ridiculously fun half marathon in the world. Over 10,000 runners descend on Vancouver to sweat it out over a weekend of yoga, running, and of course, one hell of an awesome party. Prepare to harness your powers of positivity, physicality, and mindfulness, all while taking in next-level natural beauty. Crush some goals (and maybe a few brews), and get swept away in a weekend of fun you’ll never forget.
The SeaWheeze Half Marathon is 21.1km (13.1 miles) of breathtaking scenery, salty ocean air, high fives and Vancouver vibes. When you arrive in stunning Vancouver (heck yes!), you can pick up your runner’s package in beautiful Coal Harbour at the impressive Vancouver Convention Centre. While you’re there, be sure to grab some SeaWheeze exclusive swag at the pop-up store, then get the weekend started with a yoga session at the PreWheeze bash.
And the party doesn’t stop there (obviously). The much anticipated SeaWheeze Sunset Festival will be held in Vancouver’s crown jewel, Stanley Park. What better way to cap off a wild and crazy weekend than by dancing in nature to the tune of an ocean breeze and some killer bands.
What you get:
• SeaWheeze Half Marathon entry—race route is fully supported with aid, water, and fueling stations.
• Entry to the Sunset Festival (where you’ll get your eat, drink, and dance on).
• World class yoga sessions with some of North America’s best teachers.
• Special-edition SeaWheeze run shorts available only to participating runners. *Short style and size is subject to inventory upon registration.
• Post-race runners’ brunch.
• So. Much. Fun.

Seriously. Put this one on your bucket list. The scenery was AMAZING! From the city of Vancouver, around the sea wall, through Stanley park. The vibe is all you could ask for to get you through a race. I took this one a bit slower to take photos and just enjoy the beauty surrounding me. Everything was spot on. The swag is out of this world for Lulu fans. I’ll be back for this one again!

I liked this race a lot. I wasn’t able to take advantage of all of the “extras” i.e. runner store, expo, sunset festival, yoga, etc., so I’m sure those things would have made it even more awesome. The course scenery was really spectacular. Great support along the way, and plenty of water stations. Not sure I would travel to Vancouver again to run, since I have so many equally beautiful courses in the bay area, but this race has been on my wish list for a long time so I’m really glad I did it. Nice medal, and runner shorts instead of a shirt which I liked because I have more than enough race shirts 🙂 Also was given a nice drawstring bag/backpack at bib pick up. Overall a really great race!

Vancouver is a beautiful city & this was a great way to experience it! Despite the rain, the corse was well supported with aid stations & crowd support. The race swag was great. The packet pickup was smooth & efficient…wish I could say the same for the showcase store which was a crowded disappointing disaster. The finish line was one of the best I experienced & so organized. Overall, very beautiful run.

I love Seawheeze

This was a beautiful course. I thoroughly enjoyed the organization and the events leading up to race day. This is my second favorite race I’ve done. The support is like non other and full of energy. The only portion I don’t care for is the store. It is insane and not the spirit of Lululemon

This was Runcation at its best!
First time I heard about this race I was told it’s a hard one to get into as it sells out in mere minutes. I was lucky to get in this year. Months after registering, lulu sent the official Seawheeze shorts in the mail. This is a pretty cool thing as I am used to receiving race shirts not shorts and usually on race day not months ahead.
-Seawheeze Showcase/Expo/Bib Pick up
I got a lulu mesh duffle bag with water bottle and snacks inside. The showcase store is ridiculous! Hard core lulu fans even camp out days/night before to get exclusive and limited merch.
Expo is one of the best I’ve been to. There’s lots of pampering involved to get runners excited and ready for race day. There’s free stations for hair braiding, hair cut for men, temporary air brush tattoos, mani (nail polish only in lulu colors), photo/video booths, and sunset yoga.
-Race course
Pretty much mostly flat from Downtown Vancouver to Stanley Park. Views are pretty nice especially by the water. Course was marked clearly in kilometers. Pacers called pace beavers were present for those going for time. At the finish you are greeted with a nice clean cold towel, water, and a huge medal. Free catered boxed breakfast were also provided. We also got a free lululemon baseball cap/hat and some free essential oils in a travel pouch from Saje.
Other post race treats are foam roller stretching area, free massage, and free alignment from chiropractors at the finish expo area.
-Sunset Festival Party
Another perk and a perfect way to end race day is a yoga session and concert at Stanley park . Free shuttles are provided to and from this event from downtown.
Overall this is one race every runner should check off on their running bucket list. It really is a run yoga party. I’m really happy, satisfied, and very impressed with how Lululemon organized this event and would love to go again.
