The Garmin KC marathon never disappoints! I enjoyed the new course with gorgeous views of the sunrise over downtown and highlighting some of the best KC landmarks. Although there are some rolling hills (it is KC after all), the course was fun and I appreciated the downhill during mile 13. The start & finish line at the Nelson Atkinson Museum was great with easily accessible free parking nearby. Kudos to all those responsible for making this such a great race & thanks to all the wonderful volunteers! See you next year!

The KC HM is affordable, well organized, and a great experience. The past 2 years the finish has been downhill, which is AMAZING!! The whole process from registration to completing the race is simple. The post race festival is fun with lots of photo ops. My only complaint is that the parking garage process needs improvement as it is very slow resulting in a lot of traffic trying to get to the race.

Well organized at the start, easy parking, plenty of porta potties, lots of volunteers. The course had some very beautiful portions but overall thought it left a little to be desired. Awesome high quality jacket this year instead of a t shirt. Everyone was very friendly & helpful.

Vancouver is a beautiful city & this was a great way to experience it! Despite the rain, the corse was well supported with aid stations & crowd support. The race swag was great. The packet pickup was smooth & efficient…wish I could say the same for the showcase store which was a crowded disappointing disaster. The finish line was one of the best I experienced & so organized. Overall, very beautiful run.

Kiawah Island is gorgeous but I did not feel that this race capitalized on this. The weather was cold & damp, but it was great having an indoor area to stay warm at the start line. Great, well organized race. Getting to the race was a little difficult because parking was a muddy disaster! I didn’t feel the post race festivities were anything special.
