Put this one on your list! Race production was solid throughout from registration to after the finish line. Communication is clear, signage was spot on, and water/Gatorade/Biofreeze and energy gel was available every 1.5 miles or so. The energy to keep you going here is fantastic! People from the Dallas community line the race course with signs, music, beer, Jell-O shots and more! There were a few bands along the route and running clubs or other community groups handing out encouragement or items you might need. The swag is great – especially if you run the half, full or challenge (both days). Would definitely participate here again. The course does have some slight elevation, but nothing that should detour you from a great race and possibly a PR.

Seriously. Put this one on your bucket list. The scenery was AMAZING! From the city of Vancouver, around the sea wall, through Stanley park. The vibe is all you could ask for to get you through a race. I took this one a bit slower to take photos and just enjoy the beauty surrounding me. Everything was spot on. The swag is out of this world for Lulu fans. I’ll be back for this one again!

In 2019 they changed the course around the lake area. This helped with wind & hill issues from years prior (from what I’ve heard). The spectators and fan fair along this course make this race one of the best! Seriously, it felt like everyone in this city was at the course. The race is organized well. I shuttled from a host hotel to/from the start with no problems at all. I was looking for a course I thought I had the best chance at finishing as a first time full marathoner and this proved to be a success. The race is mostly flat, the expo was set up well, host hotels were welcoming and getting my family around the start/finish like was doable with the amount of info provided by the organization. The start to this race is so touching and somber with honoring the bombing victims & families. You can feel the way the tragedy touched this town and still does. Touching and impactful to experience.
