    Although it was raining, the temperatures were great. A bit windy, but a nice run next to the Gulf. Very enjoyable and the after party was inside. Food and drinks all around. Great food after the race and fun getting together with other runners.

    Unimpressed Beach Race

    This was a very small race with little communication prior to the event. I could not find any information regarding the course other than what was used in the city permit. No mention of aid stations or porta-potties on the course. The course was flat and fast although I had not trained for it. The last mile of the course was not visibly marked. The medal was nice even though no mention of the event date.

    Also, the post race refreshments were oranges, bananas, and water at the finish line. You could have beer or soft drinks and get a boxed "lunch" inside the Hangout which consisted of an apple and a chicken wrap - a grilled chicken tender with shredded cheese wrapped in a tortilla. LESS
