Good mix of mountain terrain (first 7 miles) all downhill and city views back 6 miles (mixture of incline and flat). I wasn’t climatized to a long stretch downhill and went way faster pace than normal and didn’t realize the toll it would take on my shins and knees so struggled with the mile incline at mile 7 and rest of race.

It was a rather hot day making my time not very desirable, but the route through the city is well worth it. Wish they had the ability for family/friends to track where on the course you are. Medal and shirt were great.

Production was top notch. City course was beautiful even though the weather was dreary but great to see the different parts of the city. Not crazy inclines but there was a stretch of steady incline for a couple of miles and I always felt I was running up vs down hill

Course is very scenic running along the water and beautiful neighborhoods. Medal is top notch. I ran the full but it was in the 80’s so the heat drained me early…wish I did the half instead. I believe you could do the front or back half’s, I recommend the back half

Point to point run along the ocean which was beautiful and very flat. Had to take a shuttle to start line and it seemed like a very long wait in quite chilly weather. Last 2 miles were rough having to go up a highway overpass facing the wind which slowed me up considerably. After party was pretty good though

Hands down the best scenic run I have done, gorgeous! Very tough to run though as the elevation is up there. Point to point with first 8 miles up and last 5 down. Don’t expect a PR on this course but the images is well worth it

Flat course and a great city to run through. Very flat and mix of city views and local neighborhoods are great. Start and end at Laje Eola and after party is a great time. Running on the cobblestones for final mile or two are hard on the knees I found.

Being close to Christmas the pre race at Lake Eola was great to see with all the lights. Course is flat and easy to run. Downtown and surrounding neighborhoods are a nice view. After party back at Lake Eola is also a great time

Flat course but it was hot which zapped my energy and forced the inevitable wall for my first marathon. I couldn’t get signal on my phone after the first mile so couldn’t listen to my music which made it tougher. Overall a decent course but not amazing
