    This was my first time at this race and from the start to the finish it was fun. The Volunteers did a awesome job. Lots of bananas, snacks and water waiting for me at the finish line. Would I run this again, that’ll be a big fact YES….

    This was my first long race (before my first ever half marathon a few months later in SF). It’s a nice course in downtown Sac near the capitol, get a medal. The relay runners can get you down mentally when they get to switch and you’re still chugging along, but the flat course is totally doable in the April spring weather.
