The Credit Union Run SACTOWN features 10-mile and 5K race distances, as well as the UC Davis Children’s Hospital Miracle Mile fun run and fitness walk. The flat, fast course starts and finishes at the spectacular California State Capitol and leads runners through the “best of Sacramento.”
This event will also feature a Children’s Miracle Network pledge program in partnership with Credit Union Miracle Day.

This was my first long race (before my first ever half marathon a few months later in SF). It’s a nice course in downtown Sac near the capitol, get a medal. The relay runners can get you down mentally when they get to switch and you’re still chugging along, but the flat course is totally doable in the April spring weather.
