PROS: pretty course and no long porto lines. CONS: It was empty. The course is loops. Very odd. I should have checked the course more before signing up. We drove a long way thinking it was going to be full of people, spectators and fun. The race medal is really cheap for what we paid. The finish line was a ghost town. My friends are bummed we chose this race over the San Diego one. I hate to be so negative, but we were truly expecting an entirely different race atmosphere and I guess we didn’t realize this half would be so tiny. At least I finished tho.

PROS: Flat course, cool little medal, and ran into lots of old friends. CONS: Average finish line support, the shirt sizing was off both years, and sorta basic. We caravan pretty far down to San Diego for some of these halfs and I don’t think we’ll do this one again for the “been there, done that” feeling.
