The Naptown Half Marathon & 10K (fka as the Wayfarer’s Half) is the ultimate winter race in Annapolis! Runners can choose either the half marathon or 10K run through the beautiful streets of quaint Annapolis, MD and into Anne Arundel County.

The swag was really the best part of this race (and the lab puppy waiting to give me kisses at the top of a bridge). Sweet socks and a journal in addition to the other typical runners goodies. The running through downtown Annapolis was a pretty run, but then the race went out onto closed down highways. Lots of pavement and little worthwhile scenery. It was hot, the concrete radiated heat, and at about mile 7-9 the water stops ran out of water. I don’t know that I would have finished it if I didn’t have my hydration belt.
