I was using this series for the challenge of 7 in 7 in 7 but also to help me reach my 50 states marathon goal. I already had Tennessee (Strolling Jim 40) but wasn’t going to skip this and not do the whole series.

Not only is the course to a Nasccar track it also is one of the most beautiful course I have run. Story is I have already done three marathons in TN. It was time for me to do a half. I also must admit at 72 I need a break every once in a while. So the closest I came to a rest day was a half. So many races and so little time to do them. Keep moving my friends.
My 5th marathon in 5th state in 5 days.
