Another great race put on that starts at Mount Vernon. Could have used another water stop, but overall fantastic race. I loved finishing in front of GW’s house, but the gravel was so slippery the last 25 yards or heading to the finish line. Really enjoyed walking the grounds after and drinking some post-race beers.

Another great race put on that starts at Mount Vernon. Could have used another water stop, but overall fantastic race. There were over 2,100 runners total for both the 5K and the 10-Mile runs. Great experience all around and well organized. Gloomy weather and wet with some rain. I plan on returning in the future to improve my time. I did another 5K the day before and this was my third event this year.
