Working on a personal challenge to run a 10K in every state. Visiting Disney with my son and took a day to run the Orlando 10K. Well organized, flat, easy, comfortable course. Nice to explore other parts of Orlando other than theme parks. I recommend the race, March weather was ideal.

My 4th BDR Orlando. Great finish line party and course as usual. But this year they changed their start line and it was insanely packed. Really narrow for the half … MORE
My 4th BDR Orlando. Great finish line party and course as usual. But this year they changed their start line and it was insanely packed. Really narrow for the half and 10k start and they tried doing corrals for some reason. Hoping they change it back next year.

Good production of a decent race, but the double loop on pavers is brutal. If you’re towards the front, you catch the slower 10k racers on the second lap. MORE

I have run in this race several years and it just gets better every year. Always a good time.
– The event is great
– the timing is spot on/perfect
– post-party is great with plenty of drinks and beer and lot of food
– wide start and a great route that is 50% shaded.

BDR always puts on a great race. They have water to drink pre-race, which I really appreciate, and hand washing stations outside the port-o-potties. Why don't all races have that?! … MORE
BDR always puts on a great race. They have water to drink pre-race, which I really appreciate, and hand washing stations outside the port-o-potties. Why don’t all races have that?! Post race they have lots of nice vendors with give-aways, plenty of food, a PR bell, and photo ops. Flat course, but you do run on bricks for a little bit.

Flat course and a great city to run through. Very flat and mix of city views and local neighborhoods are great. Start and end at Laje Eola and after party is a great time. Running on the cobblestones for final mile or two are hard on the knees I found.

This was a really nice half marathon, not too big or too small. Course was well marked, water stations on the course when I needed them. Not many spectators but … MORE
This was a really nice half marathon, not too big or too small. Course was well marked, water stations on the course when I needed them. Not many spectators but that’s ok. The cobblestone streets were tough, not so much the portions earlier in the race but the portion later in the race miles 9-11 were. Fairly scenic course, ends in downtown Orlando. The medal was nice and big, and I also liked the soft women’s cut t shirt. After party was nice, free beer and drinks. Food was pretty much gone and I wasn’t really interested in pizza anyway.

Working on a personal challenge to run a 10K in every state. Visiting Disney with my son and took a day to run the Orlando 10K. Well organized, flat, easy, comfortable course. Nice to explore other parts of Orlando other than theme parks. I recommend the race, March weather was ideal.
