Very well organized trailish race on rolling gravel roads, A little hillier than i expected, glad i was done by the time it was heating up. By starting at 6am you can get a few miles in in the cooler morning hours. I rand one of the loops used for the real endurance races, with an extra mile on it. Very nice swag and lots of snacks, like fireball!. May see me again next year.
Enjoyable Small Town Run

This was mostly country gravel roads except a bit of pavement at the beginning and the end (since it was out and back)… not too bad on elevation except mile 6 was straight uphill before going back down in for mile 7. There were a couple of places where the road divided, and it was unclear which way to go. Fortunately I made the right choices, but I saw someone else who didn’t and caught up with me later. Very pretty scenery. Swag was simple… a patch and a keychain… which was nice since I have lots of shirts and medals already! Would run again!
