The 10K goes over the Melbourne causeway bridge and back. Great views of the intercoastal. The MC and race director were good, event was pretty smooth. Lots of goodies for runners at the end. Swag was top notch.

Course is an out and back at the local park, the race is a fundraiser for the local Shriners Temple (Bahia). The guys were great, the race director is experienced and puts on a great event. The entertainment was awesome, they even brought out the camel, Gus! Great medal and shirt, stroller friendly (ran it with my 4 Y/O in tow). Highly recommend it!

Had a good time running this race. Ran it with my wife and pregnant sister-in-law. Even though I reviewed the elevation map pre-race, the elevation kicked my behind. Best story I got from the race was stopping at a Chik-fil-a on the race course for breakfast for my wife and sister-in-law and sprinting to catch up with them, and then running into the manager who’s team was volunteering to man a water station further along the course. He thought it was hilarious and gave us vouchers for free food lol. Overall had a great time and the swag was great. Race is a fundraiser for UM cancer research so I felt like it was a good cause to run for.

Course wasn’t particularly challenging, some elevation down to the waterfront and back. Scenery was decent, nice views of the lake and urban views through downtown. The weather was great and the race organizers put on a great event.

As locals, my wife and I love Lakeridge so when they announced a race there we signed up immediately. The most challenging part of the day was the very first thing which was parking. They were not prepared for parking a large number of people at once and traffic was backed up for miles. Took them ages to get it straightened out and they had to delay the start times for the Half and 10K. Once the race started, the course was beautiful but challenging. Lots of hilly terrain in Clermont and it was on display. In fact, the last stretch leading to the finish line was like a quarter mile steep uphill climb.
I was looking forward to trying the race again after they took feedback for improvement but alas it was just one and done.

This was the first year they moved it from Tavares to Haines City and the course was a million times better. Weather in Feb in Florida is great for running and the course was mostly flat (hill in the first mile). A stretch of the course is on compacted clay and was faster than the asphalt portion. Great scenery running on clay roads through orange groves. it was a smaller race and at many parts there were few people around me which contributed to the overall feel of the race which was awesome. 10/10 would recommend!

I love visiting Savannah so I thought doing a race there would be fun. The morning of the race was foggy and humid and it was unseasonably hot for November. The race course was fun and the finish at Forsyth park was awesome. Even though they took additional precautions the heat was so bad that they had people dropping. Every other block we heard an ambulance going by it seemed. They ended up black flagging the race and started pulling people from the course. Luckily my wife and I were past the cutoff already and finished out the race. Of course the next day a cold front came through and it went from 85 to 45 degrees. Overall I enjoyed the race (organizers can’t really do much about unseasonably warm weather) and would recommend it. The Rock N Roll series always puts on a fun event.

This was the first race I ran that wasn’t a Disney race and it was great. The course is scenic, the weather was nice and cold, and the crowd energy was great. A little slow at times while running through some neighborhoods and the boardwalk portions can be slippery if wet but overall great event. Have ran it several times since and am registered to run it again next year.
