If your running the full marathon, be aware of the huge hill at mile 20, it’s a killer. Once you finish the race, pay attention to all the signage directing you to various tents and booths to get your post race swag, it’s very easy to miss something as you go by and you cannot go back in to finishers zone

I ran the cowtown challenge and the swag I received was well worth the money, also at expo for the first time they had a expo presale for next year in honor of its 40 year anniversary, they didn’t announce but after finding out was well worth the wait to sign up for next years races

Sign up for this race! For your entry fee you get more bling than any race I’ve been in and the free stuff the vendors gave out before and after the race is crazy good, also make sure you get on some hill training before this race because the last two thirds of this course are quite hilly
