This was a very pretty course along the French Broad River Greenway. I really enjoyed the course. It was point to point, but had two loops on the greenway. I really liked the greenway portion. There was lots of course support and it also allowed me to see my family several times. The one negative would be that for the Full Marathon course we had an added 2 mile section that went beyond the half course on the first loop. That section was trail with a lot of roots and rocks and it was almost single track at some points. Thankfully it was not very long, and not muddy, but this was my least favorite section. The race medal is absolutely gorgeous and the volunteers were wonderful. Overall, I would recommend this race.

This course was gorgeous. Mountain views of snow caps, descending into cute little towns with rivers and streams, surrounded by nature. Loved every turn. The net downhill was killer though and my legs paid the price. Running a Revel has been on my list for so long. It did not disappoint. It was well organized, had a great expo and swag, and I felt like they thought of everything. I cannot wait to run another Revel (but this time I will train for the downhills).

This was a great small town race. Scenery was great and volunteers and course support were amazing. Swag was awesome. It was a bit hilly, but if you like a challenging course that is also beautiful and well supported, this is your race. I even me the Race Director (she delivered my age group award personally) and there was a lot of thought and planning put into this race. I would 100% recommend this one! You will not be disappointed.

Rolling hills, mostly on a greenway. Perfect weather, beautiful fall race. Great medal and t shirt. There is an option for a challenge as well for the weekend, a 5k and half marathon options. Challenge is the 5k Friday night and either half/full Saturday. Volunteers were great, it was very organized too! Highly recommend this one!

I love all events that J &A Racing puts on and Shamrock is one of my all time favorite events. They handled the logistics of this “Covid Friendly” race well. The communication was great, support was great, swag was amazing, and it is oceanfront. The wind was the only negative thing about the weekend. This was my 3rd time running in person there (previously ran the half only)and the weather can be a bit iffy in March there. But it was so much fun!
