I enjoy the atmosphere and the sights. This time of year is usually great for running, and we had a great day. I love the option for the personalized fingers shirts after the race. They always pick a beautiful shade of purple for the race shirts which look good on everyone. I look forward to many more go girls.

The advertised giant medal IS GIANT, but it is NOT cool looking. It is NOT my favorite and would NOT encourage me to run again. I like the little wine … MORE
The advertised giant medal IS GIANT, but it is NOT cool looking. It is NOT my favorite and would NOT encourage me to run again. I like the little wine glass we got. The shirt was so-so. I liked the small field of 801 women, BUT, I assumed that this was a women’s ONLY event and yet I was beat by 3 men?? It was just confusing. It was a great day with great weather. I can’t speak to the Expo because my daughter picked up my packet. The organizers were very helpful.

Great race lots of people showed up good layout lots of water and gel stations. Awsome support. Didn’t have much post race food when I finished only bananas and we got free wine tasting in our wine glasses from a nearby winery ( when they finally opened) love the race shirt and the option to create our own unique finishers shirt or tank top. I look forward to this race again next year

Don’t let someone tell you this is a flat course. It’s not. It seemed to be slow rolling hills the entire race. It’s small but very supportive and fun! I’d like to try for their Triple Crown one year. Doesn’t take the same route as OKC Memorial but it takes you through several neat housing districts

This was the first year in OKC, so there were obviously going to be some bumps in the road. It started early, so there were some areas that were scary … MORE
This was the first year in OKC, so there were obviously going to be some bumps in the road. It started early, so there were some areas that were scary in the dark, but only because I know the area. There were police in those areas, of course. Some of the water stops ran out of cups and/or water. There was not a lot of crowd support, but not surprising as the first year. The race staff was great! They made sure that people stayed and cheered for the final finishers, which was truly heartwarming! The post race experience was great! The swag was amazing too. Go Girl outdoes themselves every time!

This was a fun half marathon. All women (or at least mostly…I didn’t see any men), a wonderful course through downtown OKC, and a smoothie in a champagne flute at the end. It’s also the biggest, heaviest finishers medal I’ve ever seen! I’ll do this one again!
