The new Suwanee Half Marathon course will still start at Suwanee Town Center, bring you up to and down PIB, around George Pierce Park, on the greenway to McGinnis Ferry, BUT we have removed the out and back on McGinnis Ferry / Northholt Parkway. Instead you go back onto the greenway (going under McGinnis Ferry) to Suwanee Creek Park. You will then turn around, return back on the greenway, all the way back onto the boardwalk bridge and back to the start by City Hall.
The Old Town 5K start 10 minutes after the half marathon. The 5K will start on Main Street next to the library. (This is to reduce any runner flow restrictions going under the train tunnel and to allow for a joint finish line with the half marathon.) The 5K will follow the same first mile of the half, but split off half way up Eva Kennedy onto Brushy Creek Way. Don’t forget to look around about mile 2.25 and enjoy Old Town Suwanee (amazing how much Suwanee has changed) while you return back down main street and back to City Hall.
Each half marathon runner will receive a finishers medal and commemorative blanket and all race runners receive a technical shirt (must be registered by January 12 to guarantee a shirt and medal).
These races will benefit the Suwanee Public Arts program.

Wow. I can’t believe i did it!
It was a tough race. But one i have been looking to achieve ( half marathon) for a long time. Glad it went well, and the weather was great. MORE

Scenic course
Enjoyable course. Rolling hills, but easy to get lost in the scenery. One of my most peaceful runs and the rolling hills helped with a good workout. Worth running again. MORE

Great race. Beautiful scenery, especially with all the snow. One huge hill, but the rest were normal GA hills. Good communication on social media. DJ was good at start and finish. Medal is nice and the finishers blanket was a great touch! Pancakes, coffee, donut holes, bananas, granola bars at the finish. I don’t normally repeat races but I may do this one again!
