The organizers weren’t kidding when they refer to this as a BQ course. Extremely well organized and an awesome race to participate in. I didn’t prepare much and still got a 3:35. Kicking myself that I didn’t try this for a BQ. Will be back for sure.

– NO SHADE whatsoever, lucked out since the sun wasn’t out but could be brutal otherwise
– It’s not a flat course… total ascent is 700 ft over the 4 laps. 3 hills to be really manage.. 2 big and 1 small

There is a 2-mile repeat loop that has to be run between. 20 and 24. Heart-breaking for the faint hearted.
