    The distance was only 12.65, confirmed by myself and many other runners. Super disappointing.
    The first half is slow uphill…steeper than I thought…but the second half is fast downhill. There was almost no helpful pre-race communication.

    The aid stations were awesome, each one had water, Gatorade, and refreshments. The most unique aspect of the race was the course because it had many hills, and the paved roads had dirt. The race could be improved if during the first few miles, there were more cones saying where to go because it was dark at the early start.
