Whiskey Basin Trail Runs

The Whiskey Basin Trail Runs take place in and around the mile city of Prescott, Arizona along the scenic Prescott Circle Trail which encompasses the entire town. The point to point 91-kilometer trail run runs the entire circle loop starting and finishing at Watson Lake Park. Our shorter events on the circle trail (33K & 60K) start at various points along the course and return via point to point back to the stunning finish at Watson Lake with the majestic Granite Dell rock formation serving as the finish line view.

Also featured are the stunningly beautiful, equally tough 10K and Half-Marathon. Runners from the inaugural Whiskey Basin 10K and Half Marathon in 2019 exclaimed that the course was the “most difficult, most beautiful, and most unexpected” they’ve ever run. With a fun mix of flat gravel paths, rocky scrambles, and winding single track, expect to be WOW’d by the variety and beauty of a course that highlights the Granite Dells and Watson Lake!
