Well it would have been easy if I had trained. This is a fairly flat course on an old railroad bed. It follows the Weiser River. Normally April is a great time to run this course but spring is a little late along the Weiser this year. This race has great volunteers along the course. And because there is a relay going on at the same time you have a large cheering section at the aid station.

Well it would have been easy if I had trained. This is a fairly flat course on an old railroad bed. It follows the Weiser River. Normally April is a great time to run this course but spring is a little late along the Weiser this year. This race has great volunteers along the course. Fun race well manage, great volunteers. The course is flat and is on an old railroad bed. It can be a bit rocky in places Most the course is along the Weiser river. This year I decided not to do the 50k but participated in the relay. It’s a great race for those doing there first 50k

The medal is kind of cool , it’s a railroad spike. Great aid stations. Easy flat run on an old railroad bed. Worse part of this run is the cloud burst that happen in the last 6 miles. At least it wasn’t to hot.
