This is a trail race, and naturally I fell during this race making it the 2nd time I fell during a trail race in as many event types 2 for 2. The event is really cool to honor the women who have been lost serving in the armed forces since 9/11. During the course there is a section at about mile 9 if you did the 10 mile race where you ran past all the pictures of the wonderful ladies who have lost their lives defending our nation. There are plenty of water/Gatorade stations and they did pass our energy gels during the event too. They only give out awards to the top male/female, and then the top male/female in each age group which was by 10s. Overall the cause is great and its a nice little event if you like trail racing.
