The first event in the Tidewater Striders Distances Series begins and finishes at the entrance to the Dismal Swamp Canal Trail, Rest Stop at mile post 4 in Chesapeake, VA and will be an out & back. Post race party will be at Tap It Local.

This is a straight down and back flat course. The only SWAG you get is a pair of socks (They are nice though) but that’s because the race is a tune-up for the Shamrock Marathon series in March. This is race 1 of 3 of a race series held by the Tidewater Striders, and if you do complete all 3 it is said you get a final piece of SWAG for completing all 3 races.
