    My first half marathon. Back in the days where shorter distances didn’t get medals. I ran the 5k last year (in 1997), but I really wanted to get that medal. Still one of my favorites – with real circuit board incorporated into the medal.
    Course was flat and fast in the downtown San Jose area.
