Posted January 7, 2016: Due to ongoing construction at Zable Stadium on the campus of William and Mary, and insufficient sponsorship, the 2016 Patriot Running Festival (Run For The Dream) will be cancelled. Beautiful race in historic, colonial Williamsburg. I have zero complaints about my first half marathon experience. However, some runners had trouble with the cobblestone section of the course, particularly those running in minimal or barefoot shoes. Swag was no-frills, but loved finishing in the William & Mary stadium.
