My dad was a 50 stater before it was cool to do. We drove up to drop me off at college and decided to run this race while in Wisconsin. A big turnout from the town and beautiful course BUT hills were a killer. I didn’t train properly and paid for it. My dad it with a 3:15. But running some of the race with him before I faded was memorable.
