The race seems to be the biggest marathon event in Zimbabwe and to my surprise it sold out within a couple of hours. Different distances were offered. Start is very early in the morning and the race takes place in a nice neighbourhood northeast of downtown. The course is mostly flat but a bit challenging due to the potholes you have to watch out for. Super nice and relaxed atmosphere with lots of fun afterwards. Everyone is celebrating the medals and is happy! The kilometer markers were not set correctly – which was a bit frustrating at the end!
