The race you know and love is back! Last year’s first time for the BadAss Half was such a success that we’re doing it again! The 5K will start first and then the 10M will start 50 minutes later (added an extra 5 minutes this year) giving you the option to run BOTH, to form the 13.1 BadAss Half Marathon Combo! In the OFTM BadAss Combo, participants are scored with a cumulative time of both the 5K and 10M races.
We listened to your feedback and will have a timing mat at the start of the 10M this year! You will find, too, that we have added an ADDITIONAL, NEW, special recognition bonus piece for all finishers of the BadAss Combo designed by Ashworth Awards. Sign up early as pieces are guaranteed for the first 250 finishers of the BAC Half.
Not sure if you want to run both? Registration accepted after 5K finishes and if there are 10M entries still available on race day but NOTE, it’s .5m to start of 10M race so plan transition accordingly! We say this because sometimes even if the race fills up, runners may want to drop down to the 5K or visa versa and spots become available (there is a $40 fee to bump up to 10M). We try not to encourage this as it makes it difficult to plan for medals, awards, etc, but hey, we are runners, too… we get it!
