A lot of the course is fairly suburban-feeling and through the park, but the great view of Lower Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty from across the water made the views amazing. Fairly flat course, and well-produced race. The race morning bib pickup was really well-run considering it was a moderately large race.

Would recommend this race for someone looking to PR! IT was flat and fast. I used this race as a slow/easy pace run for marathon training. If I was wanting to PR on a course this would be a good one. The volunteers were very nice and helpful. The course started in Jersey city and winded through the entire area. The views were great and we ran by the statue of liberty. The medal was fantastic and one of my favorites by far. I ran with the 2:15 pacers and they were fantastic. Super motivating and talkative, which made the race go by faster. Great race and would sign up for it again!
