Moorea Marathon Temae Maharepa, French Polynesia   Mar 28–29, 2026

Since its beginnings in 1988, the Moorea Marathon has grown every year from its experiences and has become international!

It welcomes many local runners, attracts runners from all walks of life who are keen on unusual races, and allows you to fully enjoy the scenery.

This year, the VSOP-XO club is taking the reins again in the company of the Fenua Events agency, which has honored us by joining us for this happy event, in addition to the Commune of Moorea-Maiao which invests every year in its success!

In its best years, the number of participants reaches nearly 1500 across all races. People come to discover French Polynesia, and then for its reputation as a unique race that inspires them to push their limits.

The Tahiti-Moorea Marathon is unique:
* Its route ranks it among the most beautiful exotic marathons in the world, with breathtaking landscapes and lush, abundant nature.
* Because of the festive atmosphere that emanates from it. With a party atmosphere omnipresent throughout the course, at the refreshment stands and at the finish line.
* Through the promotion of Polynesian culture with a powerful “Mana” reigning over all the races, as well as the solemnity of the opening ceremonies enlivened by dances and demonstrations of Polynesian oratory art (Orero)

Here we discover the richness of encounters with others and with ourselves, and we remain forever fascinated by the beauty and diversity of the landscapes revealed to us by what is called the sister island of Tahiti: Moorea.

The objectives of the Tahiti-Moorea Marathon:
* Promoting Moorea and French Polynesia;
* Develop sports tourism;
* To offer the public a festive event;
* To involve and energize the population of Moorea and its partners;
* To promote the island’s economy.
