This is my first and only race in France. Communications were great in French, English and German. The Expo was okay nothing too exceptional. Attention you must have a medical certificate to compete. The race is basically a circle but you are shuttled to your car at the end. Okay the course is run on small streets, two tracks, single tracks, dirt and gravel and even 100 yards of cobble stones. Beware there is a certain technical difficulty in this race. However most forget about the difficulties with not only water stops but wine and gourmet food. It’s all about costumes, food, wine, and having fun. Oh my gosh it is easy to forget about running… you can talk and drink oops!!!! and run for miles. To say the least it is an entertaining and social time. The swag… medal small, shirt not so pretty but least I forget the bottle of wine. Only the adventurous need to run here. Just go do it and you’ll have stories to tell. Cheers
