This race was awesome because they had people who knew what to do in case of an emergency 🚨! I was the eyes 👀 and ears 👂 of the Manhattan Beach Fire Department while I was walking 🚶 the race!

My fifth running and the 40th anniversary of MB10K. Don’t let the beach setting fool you- this race is as tough and competitive as you want it to be. The course loops through downtown with plenty of “rollers.” After a final hill, there is a fast and flat mile sprint along the coast. Excellent organization and support. If you are ever in town the first Saturday of October, check it out!

This is a great local race that has amazing energy and crowd support. Live local music and cheering crowds along the whole route push you forward. The is varied scenary as you start in the wooded trail and end on the strand at the pier.
No medals but you do get a pretty kickass shirt.
