The race is about movement, not just a PR. You can go for one if you’d like but the message of movement is for everyone is powerful. True inclusivity.

I love the message that this race stands for and that it celebrates movement rather than pace. No other race compares! I will be running again in 2025 and I can’t wait. The 2025 race will raise efforts to support fire relief and this is something I can stand by. Come and join us! I promise you won’t regret it <3

Stunning views along PCH, beautiful SoCal weather, and an amazing running community? This is a runner’s dream race! This year is a special year at the MalibuMoves race because 100% of proceeds go directly to support wildfire relief and rebuilding efforts in Malibu. I am honored to be able to run with this race organization!

I found Malibu Moves through my run club and was so happy to pursue the race. Their communication left no stone unturned so I felt completely set up for success on race day.
The expo was great with new brands to explore that I wasn’t familiar with and I decided to make a cute Malibu lunch date out of it.
The course is a stunning view of the California coastline on the PCH with rolling hills that create challenges and reprieve just when you need it. I’m excited to support this race again as many of its efforts will be put toward helping our community rebuild since the devastation of the fires early this year.
It was a fast and fun course which led to my personal PR and I plan to do exactly that again this year!

I ran the inaugural Malibu Moves 5K last year and had the most amazing time. I pushed myself to the limit and unlocked a new 5K PR on this course. What a fun, flat, fast, and beautiful 5K. The race vibes were unreal and I can’t wait to come back in 2025! My favorite part of the race is what it stands for- inclusivity within the run/walk community. And to top it off, this year they will be donating 100% of the profits to support the fire relief and rebuilding efforts. I can 100% get behind that!

I had such an amazing experience during the inaugural Malibu Moves: 5K, 10K, Half Marathon & Kids Run in October! I ran the Half Marathon and while it was fairly hilly, the views and vibes were immaculate and got me through the race and across the finish line. The event was so well done from the bib pick up/expo to parking to the course to the post-race finisher festival – bravo. I am already signed up for next year and can’t wait!

This was a very well organized race with lots of volunteers. The course was out-and-back and quite hilly, but the hills were well graded and easy to run. There were both runners and walkers on the course. Starting and stopping at Zuma beach was really nice – it’s a beautiful beach.

This is a well handled race. It has some rolling hills. The scenery is great and is fully along PCH. I did the VIP package and it was well worth it. I did the massage therapy and leg compression both before and after the race. The IV Hydration was great after the race . Highly recommend,

I had an absolutely amazing time at the inaugural Malibu Moves: 5K, 10K, Half Marathon & Kids Run this October! I ran the Half Marathon, and while the course had its fair share of hills, the breathtaking ocean views, supportive crowd, and overall positive energy made every mile totally worth it.
From start to finish, the event was flawlessly organized – bib pickup and the expo were smooth, parking was a breeze, the course was clearly marked and well-supported, and the post-race Finisher Festival was the perfect celebration. You could really tell how much thought and effort went into creating a great experience for runners of all levels.
I’ve already signed up for next year and truly can’t wait to do it all again. If you’re considering it – do it! You won’t regret it.

I love, love, love that this race is SO inclusive and that the back of the pack runners will have the same experience as those who cross the finish line first. I know this is the only race that is actually in Malibu and I cannot wait to participate!
