I come back every year to run this 10K. It was my first in 2022 and my 5th this past weekend. I love that it’s a smaller race with great vibes. There is little variation in elevation- some slight ups and downs- but what goes up, must come down- which keeps it more exciting. The medals are always a fave and I love the Ben & Jerry’s at the finish. Granted, I was a little bummed about the mix-up this year with the ice cream truck- but they made it right. Things happen. I seriously can’t wait to come back next year!

I ran the inaugural Malibu Moves 5K last year and had the most amazing time. I pushed myself to the limit and unlocked a new 5K PR on this course. What a fun, flat, fast, and beautiful 5K. The race vibes were unreal and I can’t wait to come back in 2025! My favorite part of the race is what it stands for- inclusivity within the run/walk community. And to top it off, this year they will be donating 100% of the profits to support the fire relief and rebuilding efforts. I can 100% get behind that!
